CID, features the Springfield door style finished in Blackstone
flat sheen on Lyptus.
“Earth Matters” became the guiding principal for the design. We
selected Crystal cabinetry made with a substrate of Green-Core,
with Lyptus. Crystal’s close proximity limits the pollution of
shipping, the Green-Core addresses indoor air-quality issues of
formaldehyde, and the Lyptus veneer is a rapidly renewable
resource.
The cabinetry is not only environmentally friendly; it also has
many convenient features. A lift-up door above the ovens
conceals the microwave, and soft-close tip-up doors on the wall
cabinets reveal LED lit glass shelving. All the doors and
drawers have slow close technology, and the cabinetry is filled
with features from recycling bins to Crystal’s new deluxe
cutlery and knife inserts constructed of recycled wood scraps
and renewable cork.
